Job Description

The Account Executive is primarily responsible for locating government specific sales activities to achieve customer satisfaction in all phases of the contract furniture sales process.       

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Be able to grow and find new opportunities in commercial real-estate, healthcare, construction, private sector companies.
  • Utilize sales and organizational skills to develop and maintain business relationships with new and existing clients to provide a wide range of commercial furniture and architectural solutions 
  • Have extensive knowledge with calling on new and existing clients and 3 years of demonstrated successful sales growth, preferably in the office furniture industry
  • Maintain key customer relationships and develop and implement strategies for expanding the Company's sales customer base
  • Exceed customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Compile information and data related to customer and prospect interactions
  • Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to Company leadership team.
  • Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities
  • Demonstrating ability to sell complex services and solutions; educating new and existing customers on the full suite of Company products and service solutions
  • Executing aggressive prospect activities to generate ongoing sales giving oversight to business development
  • Achieving and exceeding monthly and yearly quotas
  Preferred qualifications:
  • 3 years of demonstrated successful sales growth in the office furniture industry or similar industry
  • BS Business degree or equivalent experience from accredited university preferred 
  • Must possess the ability to present and communicate effectively, present company products, position, and objectives to associates, management, customers, dealers and professional organizations
  • Must be able to manage and interpret financial numbers and make sound decisions that relate to profitability. 
  • Ability to establish and maintain client relationships
  • Outstanding consultative selling abilities and excellent interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a results driven, team oriented environment.
  • Excellent prospecting skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft office suite
