Facilities Maintenance Administrator

Summary
The primary purpose of the Facilities Maintenance Associate is to assist in the management and negotiations of national/regional service agreements, and project for interior/ exterior and equipment maintenance, ensuring the best service value for retail and surplus locations.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in negotiations for repair and projects, and roll-out programs from prospective vendors to obtain the best value for services performed at the retail stores. 
  • Develop fiscal schedule for maintenance service trades and manage vendor compliance to deliver expenditures within the plan.
  • Maintain relationships with vendors, building officials, landlords, and multiple levels of management within the company to resolve all issues and ensure the efficiency of services for retail stores.
  • Interact and resolve code violations, citations, and other issues that arise with regulatory authorities.
  • Solicit and qualify prospective national and regional vendors for services performed at retail stores and surplus properties nationwide.
  • Arrange to have work outside the scope of a contract completed, issue the appropriate purchase order, review all corresponding invoices, and track all payments.
  • Provide expediting roll-out services to support special projects as required by the Managers, Facility.
  • Maintain a database for all contractual information. 
  • Document vendor performance and quality of work with regards to the scope of national/regional contracts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Two (2) years of experience in Facilities / Property Management or Construction Industry required.
  • Two (2) years of experience in Accounting / financial industry preferred.
